Effective date: 16 July 2026

Legal entity formation in progress. Project Lipsius is currently in the process of establishing a formal legal entity. As a result, certain legal details, including the registered address, enterprise number, and competent court information, are not yet available and will be added once the incorporation process has been completed.

In the meantime, Project Lipsius continues to operate in accordance with applicable Belgian and European laws. Questions concerning these terms, privacy, or the current legal status of Project Lipsius can be sent to contact@lipsiusproject.eu.

1. Operator and acceptance

The website is operated by Project Lipsius, which is currently operating as an initiative while its formal legal entity is being established. By using the website, you agree to these terms. Do not use the website when you do not agree with them.

2. Purpose of Project Lipsius

Project Lipsius is intended to support connections among European university incubators, startups, founders, and investors. At its current stage of development, the Project Lipsius website provides information about the initiative and allows investors, startups, incubators, and other interested parties to request access, express interest, subscribe for updates, or contact the Project Lipsius team.

3. No investment or professional advice

Website content is provided for general informational and networking purposes. It is not investment, financial, legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice. Nothing on the website is an offer, solicitation, recommendation, endorsement, or guarantee concerning an investment, security, startup, fund, or transaction.

Users remain responsible for their own due diligence and for obtaining independent professional advice before making business or investment decisions.

4. Eligibility and professional use

The website is intended primarily for adults acting in a business, professional, academic, or institutional capacity. You must have the legal authority to provide information on behalf of any organisation you represent.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Use the website for unlawful, misleading, or fraudulent purposes.
  • Submit information that is false, confidential without authority, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise unlawful.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, accounts, databases, infrastructure, or other users' information.
  • Interfere with security controls, introduce malicious code, or conduct disruptive automated scraping or testing without written permission.
  • Use contact or ecosystem information for spam, harassment, or unlawful profiling.

6. Information you submit

You remain responsible for information you submit. You confirm that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the necessary rights and permissions to provide it.

You grant Project Lipsius a limited right to use submitted information only as reasonably necessary to operate the waitlist, respond to requests, evaluate access, communicate with you, and provide or improve the service. Personal data is handled according to the Privacy Policy.

7. Platform listings and third parties

Future profiles, ecosystem data, investment information, or third-party links may come from users, public sources, partners, or external providers. We do not guarantee that such information is complete, current, accurate, or suitable for a particular purpose.

Third-party websites and services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or conduct.

8. Intellectual property

The Project Lipsius name, branding, design, software, original text, and other website materials are owned by or licensed to Project Lipsius, except where stated otherwise.

You may view and use the website for its intended purpose. You may not copy, republish, sell, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit protected materials without permission, except where applicable law expressly permits it.

9. Availability and changes

The website and related services are provided on an as-available basis. Features may be changed, suspended, restricted, or removed as the project develops. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

10. Disclaimer and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the website is provided without warranties concerning accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or results. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Project Lipsius is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost opportunities, loss of data, or decisions made in reliance on website content or third-party information.

11. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or end access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, users, third parties, or the project, or where these terms or applicable law are violated. You may stop using the website at any time and may request removal from the waitlist by contacting us.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Belgian law, without prejudice to mandatory rights that apply under another law. Any dispute will be submitted to the court that has jurisdiction under applicable law.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date. Continued use after an update means that the revised terms apply from that date.
